Marina Dessau, Performance-Künstlerin, Schauspielerin (Universität Mozarteum Salzburg 07). Neben Stückentwicklungen und Theaterperformances zum politischen WWW (Theaterperformance-Kollektiv internil seit 07, durchgängig aktiv seit 2014), forscht Marina körperlich-künstlerisch zur Codier- und Übertragbarkeit von sensorischer Information und nonverbaler Kommunikation. Dafür nutzt sie die Viewpoints-Methode nach Bogart/Landau, Emotionserkennung und taktiles Feedback. Im Fokus stehen (nicht-)menschliche Wahrnehmungen und Affekte im Kontext von (gesellschaftlichen) Brüchen.

Lehrtätigkeit FU Berlin / Praxisseminar Theaterwissenschaft zum Verhältnis von performenden Körpern und neuen Technologien. Zu internils Arbeitsweise leitete sie u.a. Workshops an der Theaterwissenschaft der Universität Leipzig, der Züricher Hochschule der Künste, Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden. Weitere Kollaborationen / Auftragsarbeiten u.a. Nora Adwan, Lars Gressmann, in der Vergangenheit annette hollywood, Martin Nachbar, Coralie Vogelaar.

Zwischen 2011 und 2022 arbeitete Marina regelmäßig als Dramaturgische Beraterin für die Dokumentarfilm-Produzentin Nadja Smith.

Marina studierte Darstellende Kunst an der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, Abschluss 2007.

Marina Dessau, performance artist, actress (University Mozarteum Salzburg 07). In addition to developing plays and theater performances on the political WWW (artist collective internil since 07, continuously active since 2014), Marina conducts physical-artistic research on the encodability and transferability of sensory information and non-verbal communication. She uses the Viewpoints method according to Bogart/Landau, emotion recognition and tactile feedback. The focus is on (non-)human perceptions and affects in the context of (social) ruptures.

Lecturing assignment at the Department of Theater Studies at the FU Berlin on the relationship between performing bodies and new technologies since 2021 (practical seminar). Marina held workshops on internil’s performance methods (i.a. Institute for Theater Studies at the University Leipzig, Zurich University of the Arts, HfBK Dresden University of Fine Arts). She has been training the Viewpoints-Method according to Bogart and Landau since 2006. She regularly holds workshops on the method in Berlin. Amongst others, she has collaborated with or worked for Nora Adwan, lars gressmann, and in the past for annette hollywood, Martin Nachbar, Coralie Vogelaar.

Between 2011 and 2022, she worked regularly as a dramaturgical consultant for documentary producer Nadja Smith.
